Unabyss review

Unabyss homepage introducing one shared memory for apps and AI agents.
Unabyss connects your apps to create a shared memory for your AI tools.

Review objective

Check whether Unabyss could retain context for the different accounts I manage without mixing their information or brand voices.

Independent product review.

Challenges discovered

My report to Marcin Uchacz: the dashboard showed zero memories beside 14 minutes of claimed time saved. Notion note content was not read, and the restricted-token message led me to troubleshoot permissions. I proposed clearer status messages and importing page contents.

The Notion connection succeeded and setup said the account was ready, but the expected notes were missing. The dashboard still showed zero memories. This prevented the planned context-separation test.

My report to Marcin Uchacz, co-founder and CEO of Unabyss.

Observations

Marcin Uchacz's expanded reply confirming my findings after checking the import logs. The connection produced one page and two databases stored as schema and row names. He acknowledged an integration fault and said the engineering team was working on fixes.

  • Say when no content was found and show which filters are active.
  • Do not mark setup complete while the memory vault is empty. Show the next step.
  • Do not claim time saved when the memory count is zero.
  • Import the page contents, not just database labels and titles.

Conclusion

The import issues prevented me from testing context separation. Marcin reviewed the import logs, confirmed the findings and said the engineering team was working on fixes.
